ChiTalk – Safety at Public Events | Chicago News
This week on our online-street interview series “ChiTalk” we discussed how public events, such as concerts, can be made safer for attendees. We also talked about whether the recent Las Vegas shooting made people nervous about going to future public events. During the recent Las Vegas massacre, 59 people were killed and hundreds injured during what was supposed to be a fun and safe music festival. This shooting has lead to many discussions about gun laws in the country, concert security and the safety of festivalgoers. We talked with people about what they think venues and festivals can do in the future to prevent another tragedy like this one and whether or not the recent event has changed their minds about going to concerts in the future.
