The 2015 RAM Rebel is a pretty comprehensive off-road styled package that really makes you think of the other full-size off road styled truck. In case you were wondering, I am talking about the Ford Raptor. The folks at RAM say that this truck isn’t a direct competitor to the Raptor, but looking at the Rebel, with its big aggressive grill, it is hard not to make the comparison. It wouldn’t really be a fair comparison since the Raptor is truly built as an off-road truck with a unique frame, powertrain and long travel suspension. The Rebel has an extra inch of ground clearance, done through modifications to the air suspension, and the Toyo 33” tires. Otherwise, you get the same parts that you find in the other RAM’s. It is a good thing the Raptor is not for sale at this time.
You can purchase the badass-styled Rebel in rear drive V8, 4×4 V6 or 4×4 V8. The only way to back up the look, though, is to select the 4×4 V8. Otherwise, you might be called a poser. The V8 4×4 starts at $46,370, while the rear-wheel drive V8 will set you back $42,790 and the 4×4 V6 lands right in the middle at $44,720.
Inside, we find red trim that resembles anodized aluminum and gray that mimics cast iron adorn the door panels, the dashboard, the center stack, and the HVAC bezels. The seats are covered in a nice red and gray vinyl, while the center console, the steering wheel, and the dash have red and…
