2015 Chevrolet Silverado Review

2015 Chevrolet Silverado Review | Chicago News | 2015 Chevy Silverado Test Drive

We love pickup trucks here in America. I mean, someone eating a hot dog in front of a pickup truck as a firework explodes in the sky above is about as American visage as you can muster up (throw in a bald eagle, Mount Rushmore,
and the Stars and Bars and you could be straight out of 2004’s Team America).
Particularly iconic among pickup trucks are Chevy pickups. And the 2015 Chevy Silverado is attempting to carry on that iconic tradition.
The bed of the Silverado gives you plenty of space to haul around things like bikes, bags of mulch, tools, lawn equipment, or a plethora of other things you might one day need to get from Point A to Point B.
To help keep the bed protected and looking good, Chevy offers a few different options. You can choose from a regular bed liner, a rubber bed mat, a bed rug, or, what we had in our review model, a spray-on bed liner.
The spray-on bed liner offers full protection for the entire truck bed and is also textured, so it gives a bit of grip so your cargo won’t be sliding all over the place as you drive.
Chevy is offering three engine options for the Silverado; a 4.3-liter V-6, a 5.3-liter V-8, and a 6.2-liter V-8. Our truck had the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V-8 engine.
