The Chicago Bulls are not looking good this season. The team is on a three-game losing streak and is having a tough time maintaining its momentum. Earlier this week, the Bulls lost yet another game, and this time Jimmy Butler vent out his frustration with some choice words for the head coach Fred Hoiberg.
“I also believe that we probably have to be coached a lot harder at times,” Butler said. “I’m sorry, I know Fred’s a laid-back guy, and I really respect him for that, but when guys aren’t doing what they’re supposed to do, you got to get on guys, myself included. You got to do what you’re supposed to do when you’re out there playing basketball.”
His words are especially interesting because former coach Tom Thibodeau was fired on the grounds that his training and defense was too intense for the players causing them to wear out. However, Butler insists that his comments were not on the training style but on the accountability.
