Prom Season in Full Swing
High School prom season is in full swing this time of year and one beauty school is paying it forward with their expertise to beautify a special group of students for their proms. The Trioci University of Beauty Culture has partnered up with the Edward Touhy Guardian Angel Foundation once again this year in the organization’s annual Senior PROMise campaign.
The campaign focuses on helping economically down high school seniors glam up and get ready for their big night out. A truly memorable night in a person’s life Trioci University is helping those who otherwise might not get the chance to feel like royalty.
At Tricoci University’s Bridgeview Campus students will give the gift of beautification to three groups of students deemed worthy on Friday, May 15 from Mount Greenwood-based, Marist High School and Burbank-based Queen of Peace High School.
In order to qualify for the free services students had to also be in good academic standing with their high schools. The campaign already donated, dresses, shoes and handbags to the selected students from Glam Closet back in April.
Even male participants were given suits, shirts and blazers to look their best at their proms. A great community based project that continues to inspire and breathe progression in our communities. Have a safe and happy prom season Chicagoland!
