Thai monk from the North Side temple arrested for sexual assault

According to Chicago Police, the offender, Thai monk Sripai Biadnok, fondled and sexually assaulted two minor victims during the period between 2000 and 2002. Both victims attended the Thai Buddhist temple of Wat Phrasriratanamahatatu Chicago, located at 4735 N. Magnolia Avenue in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.  Biadnok sexually assaulted both victims during the time they attended classes, where he taught Thai language and culture, according to the case information provided by the Chicago Police department.

The police describes Biadnok as an Asian male of medium complexion, slim build, 5’00” to 5’02”, with black, shaved hair, and brown eyes. He normally wears the customary garb of Buddhist monks.
