The boy was a student at School District 161. According to prosecutors, the boy tried to get off the bus when Jessica Roberts, 36, shoved him back into his seat.

Roberts allegedly choked the student and sat on him after he spilled food on the bus and refused to clean it up. The incident was caught on video. The boy sustained minor injuries.

Roberts and the bus driver have been removed from their routes. Roberts is being charged with aggravated battery. She was released after posting 10 percent of her $3000 bond.
