Family of 3 Attacked at Six Flags Chicago

Three family members were violently attacked the Six Flags in Gurnee, IL. Gurnee police reported the attack at about 9 p.m. Saturday during the Six Flags Fright Festival. Police said nine people, including one adult and eight teens, attacked the family.

According to police reports, “the larger group apparently cut in line and were using foul language when the family exchanged words.” Members of the family that were injured in the attack include a 51-year-old man, a 50-year-old woman and a 12-year-old. All three were hospitalized with injuries, all which appear non-life threatening.

Police are encouraging witnesses of the attack to contact them.
