Cubs fan charged with felony trespassing after running onto Wrigley Field

Joseph W. Confer, 24, was charged with one felony count of criminal trespass to a place of public amusement. The Cubs fan ran onto the field at about 4:20 pm in the middle of the game on Sunday. Wrigley Field security stopped him and handed him over to Chicago police. Confer was due in bond court on Monday. Criminal trespassing carries the fine of at least $1,000 and at least 30 hours of community service.
