1. Saturday, November 4, 12: 15 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Oakley

A 14-year-old boy was shot on Saturday in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood. According to authorities, the boy and another 22-year-old man were shot and injured when a black two-door car opened fire on them. The 22-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital and listed in critical condition, the boy suffered graze wounds and was listed in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

2. Sunday, November 5, 4:26 p.m. in the 100 block of North Hermitage

A 36-year-old man was shot and killed in the Near West Side neighborhood of West Town on Sunday. According to police, the man identified as Humboldt Park resident Ronald Terrel James was sitting in a vehicle when someone walked up and shot him in the head. James was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital about 20 minutes later.

3. Sunday, November 5, 6:15 p.m. in the 6600 block of South State

A 38-year-old man was wounded in a shooting near the Chicago Skyway on Sunday. According to police, the victim was in his vehicle when another vehicle opened fire on him. The victim was shot in the cheek, neck and arm and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in serious condition, authorities said. Police closed the outbound Dan Ryan Expressway to 66th Street for a few hours, but was reopened by 9:30 p.m., police said.

4. Sunday, November 5, 7:20 p.m. in the 7900 block of South East End Avenue

A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in the South Chicago neighborhood on Sunday night. According to police, the man identified as Paris Thompson was sitting outside when shots were fired. Thompson suffered multiple fatal injuries to the neck, chest and back. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead at 8:04 p.m., authorities said.

5. Monday, November 6, 5:15 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Pulaski

The first recorded shooting on Monday took place in the Northwest neighborhood of Hermosa. According to police, three males walked up to a 32-year-old man and shot him with a handgun in the upper left leg. The victim was taken to Norwegian American Hospital where his condition had stabilized.

6. Monday, November 6, between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in 1500 block of North Wood

Police are investigating a string of recent burglaries in the Northwest neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Bucktown. No description of the robber was available, but authorities suspect it’s the same culprit. Police are urging anyone with information to please call Are North detectives at (312) 744-8263.

7. Monday, November 6, 1:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Cermak

A 67-year-old man and 50-year-old woman got caught in gun crossfire in the Pilsen neighborhood Monday. According to police, the pair were walking down the street when two vehicles drove past shooting at each other. The man was hit in the shoulder and the woman suffered a graze wound to the abdomen, and both were taken to hospitals where their condition had stabilized. The pair were not the intended victims and authorities said AK-47s were used during the attack.

8. Monday, November 6, 9:54 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Madison

A 37-year-old man was shot in the hip after getting into an argument with another male at a party in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. According to police, the other man took a gun out and shot the victim in the hip. He was taken to Stroger Hospital and listed in critical condition.

9. Tuesday, November 7, 4:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Sacramento

A 28-year-old man was shot to death in the Southwest neighborhood of Brighton Park. According to police, 28-year-old victim Armondo Reyes was standing near his vehicle when someone came up, opened fire and drove away in a light-colored SUV. Reyes was a resident of the area and was pronounced dead less than an hour later at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

10. Wednesday, November 8, 4:15 a.m. in the 4600 block of West Armitage

A driver fled the scene after a vehicle crash left six people injured in the Northwest Side neighborhood of Hermosa early Wednesday morning. The driver that left the scene had five passengers that were all injured during the accident, police said. The driver of the other vehicle had no passengers, but was also injured and taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was listed as critical, according to authorities. The police Major Accidents Investigation Unit are still investigating the incident.
