Seven people were wounded, one critically, at a child’s birthday party in Aurora. Officers responded to a call in the 300 block of West Park Avenue shortly after midnight on Sunday. Six people suffered gunshot wounds. A seventh person had been driven to the hospital after the gunshot injury. Five men, age 21- 28, and two women, age 27 and 30, were wounded.
Several male shooters walked into the home and opened fire during the party. An attendee then returned fire and the group took off on Grand Avenue. The shooting appears to be gang related.
